A Beach Day

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Most of my day was spent on the beach.   We have a lovely area inside the fence with nice sand and comfy chairs.  I grabbed a comfy one real early and kept my hands on it all day.  Wanda and Irwin came for a visit and Rhonda joined us as well.  Irwin and I may of had a short nap, not sure.  

Later we all sat around some more to watch another lovely sunset.  The sun is rolling down the hill quite quickly it seems.  Good Nite!!

A Dog Day Afternoon

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Nothing much got accomplished around here today.  Normal pool stuff and pick up dog poop!!! lol.  Speaking of dogs, Archie was quite interested in my lunch today.  How can you not give him a bite.  

He is getting to be quite the furry chubby little ball of fur and he loves to sit up with me in my chair when I watch TV or have a nap.

I ran outside real quick to catch the sunset as it sank behind the hill.  That was the end to my day.  Good Nite!!!

Birria Sunday

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Birria day again today.  I met up with Jeff and Fany and Max for some Birria in their part of town.  They have found a neat little shop that only sells Birria. It's called a Birrieria. Say that fast!! You can get it in a bowl here which is nice for a change.  We had Birra taco's, Quesabirria which is a Quesadilla with birria in it, and I had a bowl of Birria.  It was all very good!!!

Today was the semi final and final of the Scotties Womens Curling, so I took the time to watch them.  There was some good curling, not spectacular but good.  Einersons' last shot to win it all was probably the best shot I saw all day.  They are off to the Worlds in a few weeks.  Next weekend is the Brier Mens.  

After the curling I went downtown to visit with Kenia and Carol at the Cafecito.  They were quite busy tonight but had time to make me my peach bionico.  Because it is so sweet and rich, I only get a half cup.

Of course being Sunday there was a huge mass.  I love to stand and listen to the music.  Also there were quite a few vendors in the plaza selling their wares.  I hung around a while, then home.  Good Nite!!!
