We brought her home!!!

I headed out to pick up the new to us motorhome last Wednesday. She comes with a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado tow vehicle.

Jan & Del saying goodbye
The previous owners seemed a little sad to see her go. Del and Jan Gorrell have had her for 6 years and have treated her well. They were so pleasant to deal with and we are confident we now own a motorhome that will service us for a lot of years. Although it was sad for them it was pretty exciting for me to finally drive her home. The Jeep toad had a small problem with shifting into tow mode so Del and Jan kept it to make sure it was fixed. I got to try out the power on a couple good hills and it has lots. I think speeding tickets might be in my future.
We parked her in our front yard for now and we spend most evenings just sitting in her dreaming. We hope to go camping with her next week for the first time. We are hoping to get a summer spot at the lake near our home where we can camp when we are not on the road.
We are starting to feel like the open road is calling us and we dream of going "away".
