Arrive at North Bay

This was our final leg of our trip to North Bay Ontario.  We took our time getting going this morning and spent some time saying our goodbyes to Kevin and Ruth. Before leaving
I took a walk around Matheson and noticed some of the older establishments had historical markers in front of them.  This was done to commemorate the towns 100th anniversary.  This is a nice touch for a traveler because it gives us some idea where the town came from.

As we travelled south we noticed that the colours were becoming very vibrant.  The reds and oranges with some green in behind was breathtaking.  Back in Manitoba we have pretty colours but they do not compare to what we are witnessing here.

We arrived in North Bay about 3 p.m. and spent the remainder of the day setting up at our friends house in her back yard.  She has a lovely house on Lake Nipissing and I will share some of the views while we are here.
