Yes Grampa's Babysit!!!

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita RV Park, La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico
NEXT DESTINATION? We are here for a while

So one of my morning enjoyments is dreaming up something for the blog.  I like to try to make a story worth reading and try my darndest to make everyone who reads it smile a bit.  I enjoy sitting out on the deck drinking my coffee and listening to the birds and the iguana in the forest right behind us.

Sue and Kaitlyn headed to town for a while to shop at the market so I got to babysit.  We had a good time and the kids played well for the whole time.  Max is such a little smiler!!

While I was sitting doing my blog, Andreas the local park RV repair guy showed up to replace H & P's foggy window.  They bought the window before coming down here and just got Andreas to replace it for them.  He does pretty good work.  His company is Tow and Service.

The old window was quite foggy and was right where Pat sits when they are travelling.

And the new shiny window is in and they are ready for the road.

The sun was hot today as the temperature got to around 27C again today.  So it was off to the pool for everyone.

The pickle ballers were back at it today.  They took a break over Christmas Holidays because there were lots of activities on the pad.  This is a game I have not tried yet but it looks like it could be fun.  One day I will try it.

We got some new neighbours today.  Tim and Michelle moved in beside Pat and Harold.  They are great people and will be good for our neighbourhood.  Because the spots are quite tight we kinda like our set up with the double wide patio and the theater curtains.  I just noticed in this picture that the big old fig tree above us has lost most of its leaves.  New ones will be growing soon and the iguana will love the tender leaves.

Like I said earlier, I always like to make you giggle a wee bit so here is my attempt tonight.  I am terrible at jokes and often forget the punch line so this cartoon appealed to me.  Hope you had a great day.

  1. I bet the new windows will be appreciated after looking through those foggy ones!

The pool looks wonderful. We had a similar hot day.
Your spot with the curtains is the best as they sure are tightly packed. :)
Groaner joke but thanks for the chuckle all the same.haha

  4. Nice try Lorne. I haven't seen the iguana yet. So he just does pretty good with the window repair? Lovely place to spend the winter.

  6. I'm not sure about baby sitting, Max has a self satisfied smile like he just pooped his pants & your face kind of confirms it :)
