To Market, To Market

WHERE ARE WE? Numero Uno RV Park, La Penita, Mexico

The morning turned out to be quite pleasant.  The current winter weather (24C) weather we are having has us kinda in the doldrums.  All the people from BC are saying they could have stayed home if this is the weather we get.  The forecast says it will be like this for a week probably.  Anyhow, this morning had some sun and cloud and the market was happening the same as every Thursday.  And every Thursday I say I will not bother going next week, and every week I go!!  Lots of vendors and people this week, so I pushed and shoved my way to the taco stand.  Jeff and Fany and Roxanne joined me for Dorado Taco's de Birria.  They were every bit as good as they were last week.

Jeff protecting the purchases.  He was daring this lady to touch them.

When we got home, Roxanne and Jeff decided to go in the ocean for a swim.  The wind had risen a bit and the visibility in the water was not that good, so they couldn't see a shark if it was swimming near them!!  They said they never saw a shark at all until...........

She got quite a reaction from everyone when she came back from the ocean.  If you look at the previous picture you can see that she has dyed her hair bright pink or red and it just hasn't set yet so it all came out.  After that the wind got up even more and the afternoon was quite miserable for La Penita standards.  I am only whining a wee bit.

I finished the evening off visiting with Kenia over a Bionico.  She does a nice job of preparing them from fresh fruit.  They are an awesome dessert to have before going home for a nice cup of tea as a night cap.   Good Nite!!

Today's weather
