Well it is Monday again. I was just counting and we have 8 more Mondays here in Mexico before we start our journey home. Time sure does fly by but I have to admit I have enjoyed this winter and its relaxed environment very much. One thing I like to do is relate things that happen or places or times to songs so I thought maybe for a week I would suggest a song, related to the blog, that might stick in your mind as you read it. Of course they will be old songs cause I'm old!! My fellow blogger Al Bossence does a little history each day of different songs on his blog Travel with the Bayfield Bunch. Check them out. I will leave the history up to him, because I just want to relate the song to something that inspires me to want to sing it. Here goes the first one.
The 1971 hit, "Rainy days and Mondays always get me down" by the Carpenters is one that will stick with you for a couple minutes. The only part of the song that applies today is the Monday part!! It is not raining nor am I feeling down about it but I bet that unique Carpenters style music is going through your head right now isn't it?? Hangin around, nothing to do but frown, rainy days and Mondays always get me down.

Joel was here working today and we hijacked him from his duties to level out our awning area. We have been sitting on a side hill since we got here and we should have done this a long time ago, however I don't move that fast, so today was the day. Good work Joel!!
Susan, Rhonda, Lilly and Terry all went to PV today to drop Terry off at the airport. Terry flies home to Kelowna today to be with Louise. (After they left her at the airport, her flight was cancelled so she won't fly till tomorrow now.) Anyway I took advantage of the quiet time around here with a wee nap.
All in all it was a good day today. The weather is back to normal and the evenings are warmer so we tend to do more things in the evening. Tonight we had a game of Canasta with Jen and Ed. We had a lot of fun and Ed and I were the eventual winners. By that time it was bed time. Good Nite!!!
