While I was having my coffee a big ole ship passed in front of RRV. He is heading inland to the Formosa Plant. I always enjoy seeing the ships go by.
Because we won't be with Jeff, Fany and Max for Easter, the Easter Bunny came early. There were shiny eggs hidden in plain site all over the beach by the RV's. It was actually hard to see them. Max did a good job of finding them all!! It's always fun to watch a kid with Easter eggs.
I received an email from Lectric Bikes in reply to the one I sent them yesterday explaining what had resulted from the changed parts. The email was marked 3:02 am so I am figuring that they deal with phone calls all day and respond to the emails on the night shift. Anyway they gave me a bunch of tests to do. All of the test had no result except for test #2!! Yippie!! We may have an answer!! When I unplugged the wire as instructed the Code changed from E010 to E008 which indicates a faulty throttle. I sent another email with the results and anticipate a response in the middle of the night tonight. Fingers crossed.
2. Go to your throttle, and follow the cable down until you find the quick plug (you may need to unravel some of the plastic webbing). Then we will have you unplug your throttle by pulling (not twisting) the plug. If the error code on the display changes to E008, then we will replace your throttle and throttle cable.
Max enjoyed some time with us this afternoon. He just chills in the "Magic Bed" with his treats and movies.
It was quite breezy here today but we sat outside lots and visited anyway. Some of them went swimming as well.
The result was that a few people did not see the sunburns sneak up on them. Fany might be a bit crispy tonight I'm afraid.
Because my 70th birthday is in a few days, everyone decided to take me out for supper tonight at the Indianola Marina. We usually like to eat here when we are in town so it was the obvious go to place. We had a lovely evening there and had a big pile of food. It was sure good. Thanks for thinking of me guys.

When we headed out after supper I saw the Indianola Marina boat sitting there. What a massive machine. 350 HP with a twin propeller on it. It must really go fast!!
Most people have gone home after the weekend so our little group looks kinda lonely on the beach. Jeff and Fany and Max leave tomorrow so the group will get even smaller.
Max is going to have a sleepover tonight so Fany brought him over to get him settled. He does real well sleeping here so this should be fun.
We witnessed another impressive sunset as we took Archie for his evening walk. Its been a great day!! Good Nite!!
And a Happy Birthday to you-looks like a fun day with great dinner+awesome sunset-hard to beat .All the best.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Lorne! And many more. . . . .
ReplyDeleteWishing you an advanced Birthday Greeting.
ReplyDeleteGlad to read that you are finally getting your E-Bike diagnosed.
That boat prop is designed to bite into the water. Like you said "Fast".
Stay Safe and Enjoy your adventure.
It's about time.
Happy Birthday, old man! Woops! I guess I'm still older so better hush about that! :) I'm sure it was fun getting out with friends to celebrate and the food looked great!
