We had a good sleep last night especially Archie. He likes to crawl up on my pillow and look out the window once the sun comes up. Then he just kind of lays there until I get my coffee and then get his breakfast. That's when he finally wanders down.
I had a little project going on today. We have lots of room behind our couch but since I took out the table and benches, the heat pipes are exposed and they get crushed every time we put something behind there the pipes get squished. So my job is to build a wooden box to cover them and also to add a box on top to store things in. Because it was hot the project took all day to accomplish.
I was going to only make it 4 inches wide, but decided I could go 6 inches wide but I needed a board. Our friend Susan said that Randy probably has a spare board somewhere and it would save me a trip to town. So I headed over to his place and sure enough he had a spare one. He also told me to grab an extra extra large pop at the corner store cause they were only $2. So I loaded up a 1x6 and a $2 pop on the bike and away home I went. This is kind of a hillbilly town, so I fit right in.
I got it built but it will need a few tune ups. That's for later. I think it will work well.
I only had one little disaster today. I had the screw kit out sitting on a milk crate and a loud quad went by and Archie bolted and took the screw kit with him. It landed upside down under RRV in the sand. Actually it gave me something to do for a few minutes this evening. Lessie let me use her little magnet and it made the job much easier. Poor Archie knew he was in big trouble and had trouble looking at me for an hour or so. He is better now so I think its bed time. Good Nite!!!
