Hanging Out With Friends Today

WHERE ARE WE? Numero Uno RV Park, La Penita, Mexico

I did a few things around here this morning.  I got the hose out and watered all the plants around the motorhome.  The rainy season is over so in order to keep the greenery around us, we need to apply a little agua!!

And of course with Archie running free around the park, there is always some poop to pick up.  I love having the pooper scooper which makes the whole job easier.

I went to the big RV Park this morning to drop off some stabilizing jacks for Steve and Julie.  They are  having trouble with their trailer rocking so I'm hoping this helps.  I tried to explain to him why rocking is not a bad thing, cause then people don't come knocking!!  Glad to help out a buddy!!  Steve was not home so I just dropped the jacks by his trailer.  I went next door to visit Jeff and Fany and Max for a bit.  They are always fun to visit with and Darren and Katherine dropped by as well.  Both of these couples were in our caravan on the trip down and are all full of life and fun to be around.  We hope to get together and do something soon.

The ocean is angry today.  The waves are large and crashing on the beach but there was a Mexican digging in the sand for some type of shell fish.  I'm not sure what it is, but he dug up a couple of bags full today.  There are lots of things in the sea that are good to eat.

Next thing on the list was getting the laundry done.  We love our little laundry down the road and Maria does a wonderful job.  Everything smells so nice and fresh and everything is still warm when we pick it up.  Our little wagon comes in handy for hauling it there and back.

Ken and Suzanne were out on the lawn today with their dogs.  They have quite a bunch.  2 of them are just puppies and are so cute.  Archie gets along with all of them.

Because it was Friday, Side Street Escondido has fish and chips gringo style.  Pat and Harold drove up from Lo De Marcos to join us for supper.  It was good and we enjoyed it.

We got the screen up on our awning today, and slowly but surely it is starting to look like home.  We are going to enjoy this season I think.  Good Nite!
