Well we have been here at Magnolia for almost a week now just chillaxin on the beach. Because the weekend is upon us, there are a few more people either in their cars or RV's. We are noticing a noticeable absence of Canadians (Quebecers) here this year. I can't believe that Canadians are naive enough to believe that coming to the warmth of the south is not a good thing to do. There is nothing here or anywhere we have travelled that would even hint at any thing out of the ordinary. Oh well, have fun with that snow shovel this winter!!!
This morning we had a little more excitement when Sue came back from a bike ride and announced that there was a big rattlesnake on the road. Being a little bit inquisitive, I jumped on the bike and headed over there. It was only a few RV's down from ours.
After all the excitement, the snow cone truck came sauntering down the beach playing his ice cream music. I think Ed and Lessie bought one.

I would be pretty jumpy knowing the rattlers are on the move!!😳
ReplyDeleteBut it does look like the weather is fine!
How long are they letting you stay, heard it’s a 14 day limit.
ReplyDeleteOk the snakes would make me nervous but it does look pretty.
