Had Kenia drop by our place this morning for a nice visit. She has been helping her friend Jose with his father who is in hospital in Tepic. Kenia goes with Jose each day to help with his fathers needs. Hospitals are kinda like that here, the nurse and doctor look after the medical need and the family looks after the daily needs like bathing and eating. Its a good system. Anyway Kenia came to let us know what all is happening. She is still running the Cafecito in the evenings.
Next on the list was a haircut for me. My favourite hair dresser did me up all pretty.
When I got home I found Archie at the neighbours place. He loves Lilly and she is like the dog whisperer. We have a good bunch of dogs here in the park.
Around 3:30 I gave Kenia a ride home and then back to the Cafecito to go to work. She is such a trooper.

Tonight we planned to have a pot luck. When I got back from driving Kenia around, the tables and chairs had been all set up in anticipation of a sunset supper.
After a viewing of the sunset which was through a misty sky tonight, we all had some appies at the palapa.

The supper was great but the company was the best. What a great way to get to know people. We all brought our own meat but the rest was potluck. It worked out great.

And Eric and Julie knew how to put the icing on the cake, literally. A lovely carrot cake for dessert. That was all for today. Good Nite!!
