I had an appointment to deliver the Jeep to the Mechanic just down the street from us. He will try to get the parts in today so we can maybe have it back on Wednesday. Fingers crossed but remember, we are in Mexico.
Jeff and Fany along with Max picked us up this morning to take us to Guayabitos to go whale watching. Alicia's Tours has always been a good place for us to take the boat from so that's where we headed this morning.
We see something over by that boat! |
Yup its a whale! |
We were out for a couple hours to find the whales. There were not many around today and they were not in a playful mood but we did see some. We decided to do lunch out, so headed for a restaurant for lunch. It had a wonderful view of the bay with all the boats tied up.
When we got back, our local fisherman Horhay had climbed the coconut tree and got all the coconuts before they fell on our heads. He chopped all the tops down so we could just jab a knife in them and drink the coconut water. These ones were right full so that meant that there wouldn't be a lot of meat in the coconut. That proved to be true when we cracked it open. There was just a thin layer of meat in it.
Welcome back guys. |
Karalee and I headed downtown tonight for taco's. We grabbed some on the street corner and enjoyed them outside Kenia's Cafecito. Carol was there as well and we got to use our translator a bit to communicate with her. She is such a nice kid.
As usual, the sun went down in the west. Good Nite!!
