Its Sunday morning and time for Birria at Abuela's. Karalee joined me and we headed down the road about 9 am. Birria is like a breakfast food down here and I have grown to like it very much. On the way there, we saw lots of baby chicks. It seems like this is the season for eggs to hatch because they are everywhere. Cute as buttons they are.
When we got there, Abuela had lots of family and friends chowing down. She has Munudo as well, but I am not a fan. Just don't like the texture. Karalee said she enjoyed the Birria though.
We got home in time to take a picture of Ron and Lilly in front of their welcome sign. We also discovered that today is Ron's birthday so "Happy Birthday Ron"!
Not too long after that Kenia, Oscar and Carol showed up for a visit. Its always fun when they are around.
We all took a walk down to Kenia's after dark to have a couple frappes. On the way we went by the supply truck for the grocery store. No such thing as wheelers here, everything just goes on the shoulder.
Karalee found a dog friend in town. Of course it followed us everywhere.
We took the beach for our walk home and had to stop and take a picture of the La Penita sign. It is so pretty at night.
And of course, sunset. What is a blog post without a sunset. Notice the cute white skinned girl watching with me. I wonder how long till that white turns red!!! Good Nite!
