We have explored enough around the valley for now. Sue wants to go back to Magnolia Beach for Christmas again this year so today we are heading there. We will go to Victoria Texas first and do some Christmas shopping tomorrow before hitting the beach.
About all we saw on the trip of any interest were some piles of cotton on the edge of a field. There were probably 30 truck loads and somebody said they spread it on the land. I didn't realize that cotton was good for the soil.
We got to Victoria and settled in at Walmart for the night. We parked in the corner by the water tower as instructed.
Oh dear... what is that I see across the parking lot outside our window? Why its a Whataburger? So off we went to pickup a couple burgers for supper. MMMMMMM good. And that is our view from the window tonight.
