Grace and I spend the day together.

Spent some time on the mountain with Grace today.  The girls all went shopping and left us boys to work on our respective honey-do lists.  Of course my main objective was to get Grace through the day without any major injuries.  She was so good for Grampa and loves to play in the dirt so she was a pleasure to look after.


We went for a few walks with Charlie and Grace loved to check out all the cactus.


The occatio cactus is one of the earliest cactus to bloom in these parts.  I hoped to find some starting to bloom.   I think I remember them starting to show their pretty red flowers about this time, but as of right now we have not observed any red flowers yet.

Everyone gathered on our deck for supper tonight because we had a big bunch of chicken that needed to be eaten.  Everyone brought something to go with it and it all turned out wonderful.

    A wonderful day, great idea to get rid of too much chicken. I'm sure it was delicious. I'll bet Grace enjoyed her day with Grampa and Charlie.

      Grampa always needs a little alone time with the grandkids. Those are some of the times that they remember most.
