We are sooooo lucky to be able to spend our winters here in Mexico at Ed and Jen's home on the beach. We are so lucky to be surrounded by nice people who we consider family by now. I often think that it will be a sad day when we are old enough not to be able to make the trip any more. Stop Lorne, lets not even go there!!! For now we are blessed!!!
And the other thing I am thankful for is birria!!! Anyone who is coming to Mexico needs to experience birria!!! I would recommend getting it at a sketchy looking street vendor, or at a little mom pop hole in the wall restaraunt and order it medio which is fried until a wee bit crisp. If you want it really crisp then dorado is for you. Not the fish but the crispy style!!! The birria here is made with beef but the traditional kind is goat I am told. They seem to have kept the flavours of old Mexico alive, and don't forget to add some really really hot sauce to it to make your tongue tingle. It is the true breakfast of champions!!!
Not long after having birria, Susan sent me a picture of the plane being pushed back in Winnipeg so that confirms she is on her way. Yah!!!! Almost 6 weeks she has been back in Manitoba. I checked her progress later on line and she is back in Mexico now!! Another hour and half to landing.
Jeff and Fany were at the airport today to drop off their son Alixi so they stuck around for a little while and picked up Sue from her flight and brought her home. A friend we made last fall on our trip down was coming to spend some time here in the park as well so she met them in PV and followed them to La Penita in her motorhome. Welcome to Tracy and her dog Doyle!!! They will get along just fine with us bunch of hooligans. It is good to have Sue home again so I don't have to do the talking anymore.

A great day by anyone's standards and we almost got a sunset. We can confirm that the sun will set in the ocean if we can have a day without a cloud bank above the water. Good Nite!!!

Good to hear Sue made it back to Mexico.
