Happy Ho Day

We decided that although our spot is nice with the palm trees and grass, we are beach people so today we are going to move back up the beach to a spot close to the water.  We met some people up there earlier and maybe we can get to know them a bit better.

Our old spot
So we packed up all our stuff and moved.  It went well and because it was only a quarter mile down the beach I didn't have to take down the solar panels or remove Santa from the roof.  We will be happy here for a week or so before heading down to Padre Island.

We spent most of the day sitting in the sun, and also some time visiting with Chuck and Angie down the way.  After supper we headed in to Port Lavaca on a supply run.  I noticed this sign at the door, and I could sense that the shoppers are getting a little more intense.  Soon the rush will be on!!

On the way home we spotted some Christmas Decorations along the road.  Nice to see some people are trying to get in the spirit.

I suppose that maybe they can't afford to replace the missing bulbs that would make this display a little bit more appropriate!!!

I didn't know there was a special day like this.
Here is the view from our window tonight:

Our Location Tonight:   Magnolia Beach Texas:   Boondocking
