My sweetie had my Valentines card and a wee gift laid out for me when I got up this morning. She is the thoughtful one this year. Every year I get to juggle between Valentines and her birthday, which is on Feb 17, so I guess this year I will have to do extra good on her birthday!!! I did get her a card at least!! This neat motto will find a special place in the Ponderosa.
We headed into Quartzsite with Kyra to check out a few of the vendors again and came home with a few trinkets. Nothing of any interest really. We did buy Charlie a box of 84 small dog dental bones for a treat once in a while, but he decided to eat the whole box we left with him in the Jeep while we were doing more shopping. He will have the whitest teeth in town now!!! Burp!!!
After we got back from our shopping spree, I did a couple more little projects around the Ponderosa. Sue needed a new USB port, to plug in her Wifi stuff in the tech cabinet, so I wired one in for her to the 12 volt system. I think it will work great!! Now there will be no excuse for the wifi to be dead! Maybe I will get my blog out on time now.

Once I got this in place, it was on to the next project. When our hot water tank is on propane, there is a little wee light in the panel that tells us it is on. Unless you are looking right at the panel you can't see the light so our hot water gets left on lots of times. I decided to add a bigger light that will show up from anywhere in the living area of the motor home. If this red light is on, the hot water heater is on propane!! It has a separate red light for when it is on 110 volt power. I think this will save us some propane in the long run.

Our Location tonight: Boon docking at West La Posa LTVA, near Quartzsite AZ 33.6572 - 114.228
Sounds like you two have been busy since you arrived in Quartzsite. Really like how your cupboards are turning out. It certainly looks like it brightens up the interior. Great personal touches to make it a wonderful home on wheels.
ReplyDeleteThe reason we bought an older motor home was so we can make any changes we want without worrying about it. We certainly enjoy making it our home and it is really starting to be that. It takes a while to decide what changes to make. We are having fun doing it.
DeleteYou certainly are a handy fella, and I see no duct tape so I'm assuming you aren't related to Red Green.
ReplyDeleteCharlie looked properly ashamed. Hahaha...that was too cute.
Rain is over now, so you can resume outdoor happy hour now..
Keep on having fun!
Uncle Red? I just don't show the duct tape stuff. lol. We only had a few drops of rain here so it didn't slow us down much.
DeleteSorry I missed this post earlier so we could get together to catch up. We're still sitting at La Posa South where we were last winter.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
I was over to dump and saw your rig over there. I will drop by one day and you are always welcome to drop by here. We usually have a get together about 4 or 5. Our actual GPS is 33.6572 - 114.228 not what is on the map above.
