Off to Quartzsite

Today is moving day.  We are heading to Quartzsite to do some repairs to the Ponderosa.  There are a lot of little things that we need to fix and Quartzsite has all of the supplies we will need to fix them.  Ed and Lessie will be following us today, and Kyra will come maybe tomorrow.  Chuck and Angela are planning a short trip back to Illinois for a special birthday, so we won't see them for a while, if at all.

Pat and Harold are heading to Ventura California to do some more Motor home hunting so we all lined up on the side of the road to wish them good fortune and safe travels.  We hope to see them in Quartzsite by the end of the week if all goes good.

We didn't get excited about leaving and sat and talked with everyone until almost noon before we hit the road.  It was a good day to travel with a bit of an overcast but we did run into some wind as we got closer to Quartzsite.

We chose a site that is fairly close to town in West La Posa LTVA.  I want to be able to dash back and forth to get all the supplies we need whenever I need something, so everyone gave in and let me park here.

After we got set up I suggested that because it was a travel day, we should go out for supper.  We all loaded in Ed and Lessies car and headed for Silly Al's Pizza.  The place was full when we got there but thinned out real fast when the karaoki started.  The average age of the singers was 80+ but I must admit a couple had good voices.

We all headed for home about 8 and went our respective ways for the evening.  We will see what tomorrow brings.  Oh and Pat texted us to tell us she won $400.00 at the casino they are staying at tonight near Palm Springs.  We all have been having good luck just using the free money the casino's give us for signing up for a players card whenever we stay at casinos.  We may all have to take up gambling professionally!!!  NOT!!

Here is the view out our window today:

Our Location tonight:  Boon docking at West La Posa LTVA, near Quartzsite AZ 33.6572 - 114.228
