Boxing Day

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Today by 10 am we had a beach full of Mexican vacationers.  They are probably from inland like Guadalajara and this is their ocean get away.  They are not the party type, but have come here to sit in the sun and enjoy the ocean.  They bring more food and drink than you can imagine and they have a wonderful time.

Jen dropped by with a big grin on her face because she just saw this in the kitchen.  Someone had strategically placed some rocks near the albino dinosaur.  Actually it is one that she is going to paint at some time and now she will have to paint the rocks as well!!   I must admit, I did snicker as well.  

Ed and John and Ron were back on turkey duty later in the morning.  The brine they made yesterday has to be put in a bag with the turkeys and left to soak for a day.  They carefully distributed the brine in 3 bags with the 3 turkeys.

After the turkeys were looked after, Ed and John and I headed up on the roof to clean up the solar panels.

Well that was our day here in LP.  Guess what?  Yup, the sun set in the west again.  It is starting to roll back down the hill ever so slowly but was actually noticeable tonight.

I sometimes have to laugh at how intent Archie is on where the food is.  Susan was trying to make some supper and he would not leave her side in case a tid bit dropped.  Good Nite!!!
