This morning I had to go up town to buy some stuff. Part of what I had to buy was some new bulbs for our awning lights. They have lots of these kinds of bulbs down here because power is expensive so they use lots of low wattage bulbs. This light certainly won't take much power.
Another project this morning was to make a new foot for an old couch. The old one had rotted off so I made one out of some scrap lumber. It will work for as long as the couch is around. Not pretty, but functional.
We got to see a sunset tonight for a change. We are almost at the solstice so the sun will begin moving left to right along the mountain. To date, it has been moving right to left. Sunset always gets some picture takers on the beach. Oh wait, I am one of them.
Tonight is the finale of Survivor 49 so we got out the big screen again. We are watching it live, so John and Susan had to do some technical stuff to make it work. It's above my pay grade.
It was a beautiful evening and we ate popcorn and watch a great ending to a great season. Archie enjoyed begging for all he could get.
The finale didn't go the way I wanted, but oh well. It will be season 50 in the spring. That is 25 years we have been watching this show. So I guess I will go to bed and sulk. Good Nite!!!
