Relaxing in Reston Manitoba

Today we walked our grand daughter to school.
She showed us her classroom and her desk.

After leaving Abby at school, we headed downtown Reston to get some supplies.

Later in the morning our son Derek and I headed to Virden which is about a 20 minute drive to get the front tires on the Jeep checked.  They have about 20,000 kms on them and they are starting to
wear funny.  We were told that the alignment is good but to keep our eye on them.  Thanks for that.

Late afternoon took us to a Fun Fair at the local Recreation Center.  This was for the kids but there were some draws for crisp $50 bills.  You guessed it, we didn't win any.

The evening was spent working on setting up this blog.

One of the things we will strive to do is make this an interesting stop for everyone.  In order to do that we want to make it a record of out of the ordinary things we encounter each day rather than just a journal of everything we did.  It will take some time to get in that groove so bear with us as we start this journey.
