Lots of Friends Today

WHERE ARE WE? Numero Uno RV Park, La Penita, Mexico

This morning the pool had lots of green stuff in the bottom as we had planned.  The clarifier sure works good.

Sergio and I got out the vacuum and gave it a good cleaning.  The pool is now sparkling clean.

After we got that done I sat and had my coffee and watched the ocean.  Our little fisherman Horhay came in with a fish and 3 or 4 lobsters.  Lobster is not something they get much of here, but he seems to be able to catch a few every once in a while.

The fish he caught was a sharky type thing, very flat with a huge flat head.  The other guys were very interested in getting pictures with it.

This afternoon we had various visitors.  George and Henny dropped by for a nice visit.  I didn't get a picture but you gotta believe me, they were here!!  After they left, it wasn't long and Jeff and Fany and master Max showed up.  That little guy is a joy to have around.  He is so inquisitive and smart and well mannered.  He gets his good traits from his parents I guess.

We had a dinner date with the new owners, Jen and Ed, for supper at Las Koritas.  Sergio has a rib special every Sunday so we decided to take it in.  It was a great supper and we had good company.  Jen and Ed seem to be the kind of people we can identify with easily and it is good being around them.  Thanks for joining us tonight.

Ron and Lilly and John and Lauren were having supper there as well tonight.  Rib nights are popular with everyone.

Well I checked my pedometer and I guess I better start managing my walking a bit better.  I realize 10000 step days are only once in a while, but I should be getting 5000 steps a day.

We finally got a new lock on the gate. We have only had a couple keys up to now and with more people here now, it was time for a combination lock.  This will work well for those late comers at night without worrying about locking anyone out for the night.  Good Nite!

  1. Pretty sure that Horhay's name in actually spelled Jorge!

    1. you are right but i bet 90% of my readers would pronounce it right without the phonetic spelling. There is just something mystical about George or Jorge when it is pronounced Horhay and this guy is definitely a Horhay! lol
