This morning it was time to get the push mower going. It needed the blades sharpened so I got busy and took the blade off and sharpened it. The grass is starting to grow so I will need it real soon.
Then I fired up the chainsaw and did a little tree trimming. I love my new electric chainsaw. It is very light but does a good job of cutting.
After school today, Jill and Serena came to give us a hand for a while. They got busy with the leaf blower and blew all the leaves off the course. It takes about 2 hours to do the whole job but it sure looks good when it is done.
In the 9 years we have owned the course, we have never had any vandalism to speak of. Little things moved on the golf course but that was about it. This year, when we got home, I discovered someone had broken the side windows out of my yellow Jeep hardtop which was sitting next to the golf course. There was no reason, other than someone just felt compelled to do it. It made a mess with all the broken glass, so Serena helped me clean it all up.
That was about all we did today except to watch another episode of Survivor. They are down to 7 left so it will be over soon. We have no time to watch it in the summer anyway!! Good Nite!!
