We had a nice little surprise this morning. In past years the "Bread Man" has stopped by and sold us bread or buns, pina turnovers and all sorts of fresh baked goodies. We usually buy a loaf of sourdough bread and a couple empanada's. Well last year he kinda quit coming for some reason so we thought that was over but today he was back. He will be coming every Tuesday for the rest of the winter.
With our tummies full of baked goods we found time for a couple projects. Sergio and Ed spent some time getting some paperwork straightened out. When you buy property here, it comes with a lot of paperwork getting all the utilities changed over to your name. It's been a year since the sale and they still have a couple of loose ends to tie up.
While they were busy doing that, the rest of us had a nice swim. The pool is staying about 84F which is just perfect for us. It will probably go down to about 80F in the next month and a half. Remember it is only 1 month till Christmas!!!!
After getting cooled down I set to work putting together our new smoker. It is a real small one but should work with our Webber BBQ real nice. It actually didn't take a lot of putting together actually. We now have to track down some pellets to try it out.
Next on the list was to start getting Ron and Lillies trailer ready for their arrival. We opened it up and got the power going and put the slide out and opened all the windows. They have an independent fridge, so we moved it outside and got it plugged in. When they arrive next Saturday they will be able to pick up groceries etc and know that they have a fridge to put it in.
We worked on the trailer long enough that I almost missed the sunset tonight. Managed to catch a sliver as it slid over the hill.
Jen and Ed bought some LED lights for the pool. They are rechargeable and mounted on a plate that John glued in place yesterday. The underwater glue is quite the thing. Just put lots on and it cures within 12 hours. So today the 12 hours was up so we fired them up at dark. They are sure pretty and can change colours. We kinda like the blue the best.
We played some cards with John and Kirly and headed for home. Our little patio looks quite nice with the lights on. Good Nite!!!
