Today was a good day for just laying on the beach. We have a few people gathering in front of our place now and I'm sure more will come shortly. This lady was working on her leg tan outside our fence. Lots of people spend 2 days on the beach and then 8 days inside nursing a sun burn.
Just lots of enjoying the beautiful day today. About 4:30 John and Kirly and Sue and I headed downtown to go to the baked potato place we had heard about.
Just our luck, it was closed. So we went down the Street to Sabor de Casa. It is a nice restaurant and we have been here before.
We ordered various seafood dishes, but Kirly insisted that she came downtown for a baked potato. So we did our best in our humble Spanish and the waiter helped as well and he thought he could find a potato and bake it for her. She doesn't like a bunch of garnish on it so settled for some cheese. Well it came out and looked and tasted delicious. Full credit to the chef for making something like that even though it is not on the menu!!
Our meals were fantastic as well.
We are lucky to have a great mural artist around town and they like to spruce up some of the local restaurants as well as the down town. Sabor de Casa has a couple nice ones. That was it for us and we took our full tummies home for the night. Good Nite!!!
