Revolution Day Parade

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Every time there is a parade in town, I go to watch it, and everytime I do, I say never again.  Parades here are hot and crowded and slow and and, but my goodness the kids are so cute.  Kenia's friend Suzanna has her daughter Soy in it and she looked beautiful.

I didn't do a good job of taking pictures of the actual parade, but captured a little bit of the colour.  It is the Revolution Day parade.  

Fany dropped by for a little while and we got caught up on what was happening at their house.  We are looking forward to seeing all the painting they have been doing.

Steve delivered Ron and Lilly's trailer today.  We got it set in so they will have a nice view of the ocean and the pool area.

We made a quick trip to Guayabitos to the Poppin Food Mart to get some cream and veggies.  They usually have stuff that other stores don't.  Some of the stuff is having a nap on top of the cat food dispenser.  I guess it is hoping for a little handout.

Later in the afternoon, Jen and Ed showed up. They have driven down from the Los Angeles area and are going to spent 5 months or so here.  Its nice to have them back.  I didn't even get a picture of them!!!

When we got Ron and Lilly's trailer in this afternoon, it was kinda tight to ours but I did it for 2 reasons.  Our awning area has been like a long hallway up to now and having their trailer right there will be like having a wall with the advantage that the breeze will still blow through.  I think I will like it there.  Secondly, R&L will have a good view of the ocean without looking through our awning area.

After supper I headed downtown to check out the music on the main street.  It was booming away like Mexican music does.

There were some dancing horses in the main street and one of them wandered down by Kenia's.  They always seem to be enjoying the music as well.

Kenia and her friends were having a good time tonight grooving to the music.  It is always good to see the kids having fund.  Good Nite!!!
