The ocean has picked up a bit today and is probably the strongest waves since we have arrived. They are making that slamming sound as they break on the beach. They have spent the night bringing back a big bunch of sand and the sand has plugged the outlet from the estuary.
A couple chores and errands today down to the mini Walmart. They call it the Bodega.
And today Martin and Monica showed up to wash RRV and the Jeep. They also washed Ron and Lilly's and John and Lauren's trailers.
And a couple additions to the pool. Jen added a neat little floating sprinkler thingy that lights up. It will be neat to see it at night. And I got 3 balls that we will use for playing Flyball. We will soon have enough people to play.
And later we headed up the Jeff and Fany's for supper. They have finished painting for now and their painter Freddie was there having a chat. We had a great supper and a evening with them.
We tried to see a sunset from up there, but the clouds were not having it. The weather is cooling down quite nicely and the evenings are beautiful.
The view of La Penita after dark from their living room is spectacular.
Remember the old stories of Mexico where if you left your car on the street it would get stripped!!! Well apparently that still happens, but probably not to tourists. This one is at a mechanical place but is right there on the street. I guess I better lock the Jeep tonight!!! Good Nite!!!
