Our friend Kip sent me a picture of the moon over the ocean at about 5:30 this morning. Now I was up about then for other reasons than to take a picture so thanks to him I have a picture to share with you.
Not long after 9 am we heard the familiar horn of the chevy truck and the man crying "Bread Man!!" That is our que to head out the gate to purchase bread, buns, empanadas and all sorts of baked items. He comes every Tuesday and today I kept hearing the song "Hot Cross Buns" playing in my mind. If you read the following lyrics, you will find yourself humming the tune various times throughout the day.
Hot cross buns, hot cross buns, one a penny two a penny, hot cross buns. If you have not daughters give them to your sons. One a penny two a penny, hot cross buns!!
Something has been happening with the fish out on the ocean. The pelicans have moved in in great numbers and are fishing almost continually. Something has driven the bait fish in close to the shore I guess. The Pelicans are certainly enjoying their bounty.
I checked out the construction site today and they are marching right along doing the pilings. The pumper truck showed up to do another one when I was there today. Not many more to go and they will be finished the pilings.
This afternoon Normand and Suzanne came for a visit and to play Skipbo. They love that game and so we played a few games. Suzanne and I each won 2 and Normand won 1. Sue took the booby prize. hee hee.
We played until a little after 5 and then headed down to Las Koritas for our 5:30 reservation.
There was no special tonight so we made our own. We ordered Shrimp Alfredo except instead of Alfredo sauce, we requested curry. Wow that made a tasty meal!!! They need to add that to their menu for sure.
That was our day in a nut shell. We had fun and hope to visit Normand and Suzanne in their new place in Guaybitos in the next few weeks. We finished the evening with some TV. Good Nite!!
