Visiting Friends

WHERE ARE WE? Numero Uno RV Park, La Penita, Mexico

We woke up to a really foggy morning.  This is not like this area and must be signaling a change in the weather.  I have never had arthritis in my knee before, but I sure had it last night.  Might be just my age lol.

Today was Sunday which is Birria day at abuela's.  I had asked a lot of people here if they wanted to join me and they all bowed out so I set off by myself.  By the time I left the sun had arrived and the fog had lifted.  Some cats were soaking up a sunbeam along the way.

When I got to abuela's, there was no one home.  I'm sure glad I didn't drag a bunch of people down here with me.  I found out later that they were at a Cancer de Mama event, which is a very worth cause each year here in town.  So they were forgiven.

So I was still hungry, so what should I do about it.  Hmmm why don't I go up to the big RV park and do some visiting and have breakfast at Ceci's!  So that's what I did.

I spent a little time visiting with George and Henny and George joined me for breakfast.  After breakfast I had a nice little visit with Steve and Julie.  We haven't done a lot of visiting since we arrived and I miss that.

On the way out of the park I was taken aback.  I knew our friends Kevin and Ruth were travelling somewhere around here and I thought maybe this was Igor!!  When I looked closer, this rig was in rougher shape than theirs.  I'm still hopeful we will run into them in the next few days.

We are babysitting Max while Fany and Jeff went to PV on a much deserved date.  They have not had the opportunity to be by themselves for any amount of time for quite a while.  We hope they will come back refreshed.  They have been under a lot of stress lately dealing with some real estate.

nothing wrong with this picture.  can I have some?

The girls spent some time painting today and I got a picture of Jen after asking her if she got any paint on the dresser??  I think they had fun judging from the paint on the nose.

We had another nice sunset get together.  Rhonda joined us relaxing and watching the sun go down.

We have Max for a couple days so bedtime is an important time to make him feel comfortable.  He settled right in and was asleep by 8 pm.  He is a good little guy.  I wasn't far behind.  Good Nite!
