Well the Cafecito II is to be moved today and Kenia called and asked me to come and help her move it. By the time I got there she had it all hooked up and ready to go. She is going to take it to Abuela's house to sand it down and do some welding on it. Down the road she went.
I went downtown and did some chores and then thought maybe I should check to make sure she made it to Abuela's. I got close to her house and there she was in the middle of the road. The hitch had broken off her car on a big bump and she had no way to haul it now. Oh no Oh no!!
Because Kenia is so popular here in La Penita, she knows every second person and sure enough a friend of hers came along and she asked him to haul it the rest of the way. It was tricky to hitch up because it was on a hill and the thing is back heavy. But with everyone trying, we managed to get it hooked up.
He parked it at Abuela's for her and we will work on it from there. We had decided to try the Chile Relleno's at La Toro restaurant. We had heard they were really good and they were the special today. You got the special and an Agua Fresca (horchata) for 80 pesos. That is about 6 bucks Cnd. It was good I guess but not my favourite. As chile rellanos go, apparently they were really good. It might be our new lunch go to place.
We all headed home to be on time for the big hockey game tonight.
On the way we came across Kip and Luna out for a ride. Luna sits in that basket as pretty as can be.
And another sunset came and went just like they always do. Without Kenia having her Cafecito here in La Penita, I don't go down town very often in the evenings any more. I kinda miss that and can't wait for her to be be back in town.
Tonight was the final game of the 4 Nations Hockey Tournament and we put up the big screen to watch it. It was a very good game from beginning to end and for us, the right team won. Canada has been dominant in Hockey for a long time and the timing was right for a big win. Yah Canada eh? Good Nite!!
