Happy Halloween

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Happy Halloween everyone!!!  It seems like its been a year since we last did this!!!  I failed to mention yesterday that Jeff and Fany and Max have arrived back in town.  We did go see them yesterday but I didn't have my phone so no pictures.  Welcome back guys.  Hope to see lots of you.

And I got to see my Birra guy downtown today.  He makes the best birra taco's in town.  He seemed happy to see me back.

Today was trim the palm trees day.  Poncho came and soon got busy climbing the trees and trimming them.  There were lots of coconuts on them this year, so they had become a bit of a hazard.  One of those falling could kill a person.

One of the trees took a lightning strike earlier and it was right above the pool so we were really worried that some of the fronds might fall on our heads in the pool.  Poncho was a little worried that maybe it was not safe up top but soon found out it was ok.

They got some good looking coconuts from some of the trees.  

It looks like the weather is going to level out now and if we can get rid of the humidity, it will be better.  I don't anticipate that to happen until later in November.  

So for Halloween we met Jeff, Fany, Max, Nicole and her husband, and Bob and Cindy at Hinde and Jaimies to have supper and hand out candy to the kids.  We had forgotten about handing candy so we watched as the rest had fun.  Bob and Cindy had 600 rice crispy squares and within about and hour and a half, they were all gone and there were still kids coming through. 

Max was the only one at our table to dress up.  He was some sort of a villain.  It was a fun night.  Good Nite!!!
