About 3 houses down the beach is the estuary. This summer the ocean along with some help from a couple hurricanes washed a lot of sand into the area. They have moved a lot of it with a loader and now they are designating it a crocodile sanctuary. I told Archie that he better be careful in case one morning there is a big croc laying on the new sand peninsula.
Then it was time to head down to Guayabitos to pick up our peso's that we had ordered. We use Remitly to receive funds. It works very well except that once in a while there is a line up at the bank. That was the case today and Mexicans never get in a hurry to move a line along. They just go as slow as they want to. The bank is upstairs in a department store so I just hung around looking at things while she stood in line. Only the person whose name is on the transaction can retrieve the money.
She finally got to the head of the line and got her pesos.
Then I got busy and mounted the rear basket and my new tail light on the bike. I like to have a good headlight and a tail light because I go downtown after dark often. The tail light even has a signal light on it.
I took a trip downtown and found the Churro lady. I brought home a little treat for Sue.
Archie even joined us for the occasion. We have been watching reports on hurricane Vance and it seems like we might not see it. We are just watching and waiting before we make any decisions. Good Nite!!!
