A little cooler today. Only 33C. But the humidity persists. We started the day with coffee overlooking the ocean. Lots of grackles came swooping in to munch on something on the beach.
Archie wanted no part of them taking over our beach and quickly put the run on them!!!
We managed to spend some time getting some of the lounge chairs ready to go. Unless you have things in a bag or sealed container, they seem to pick up some mildew from the humidity of the rains all summer so we had to scrub them all down with Fabulosa. Now they are clean as well as smelling good.
We have been getting a little rain yesterday and today and just as we were finishing up our swim a quick shower hit us. Not that we cared because we were wet already. The rain is keeping the grass lovely and green but does nothing for reducing the humidity.
Sunset was obscured tonight due to the rain clouds so we went in and had a fish supper. I guess we will have to get used to the rain for the next week or so as they say hurricane Vance has weakened but we should still expect 7 to 10 inches of rain as it passes. I can take that.
We finished up the evening with a couple more rerun episodes of Survivor. We must be hard up for entertainment right?? Good Nite!!!
