Another relaxing morning just having coffee and looking at some information on our up coming tour. I think we will be seeing some great country as we lollygag along The Great River Route. Haven't heard anything back from MB Health so I will assume we are now in compliance. About 10:30 we gathered up and headed into Steinbach which is about a 40 minute drive. Its a nice little city with everything you need. Of course we were hungry when we got there so stopped at Big Smoke for lunch. Its like a southern BBQ style restaurant with brisket and ribs and pulled pork and all sorts of things. Way more food that we will ever eat in one meal, so supper will be good as well.
Steinbach is also know as the auto capital of Manitoba because they love to sell cars here and have for years. They of course have a token huge car at the entrance to the shopping mall. Shopping Mall??? Did I say Shopping Mall??? Yep we had to visit the shopping mall!!!! Glad Karalee isn't much of a shopper so we were out of there pretty quick.
We needed something to keep things from falling off our center table as we travel so I got this cord conduit that has a sticky side. I put it all the way around the outside. Sue says it will be horrible, but it will do the job for now.
The girls spent the evening decorating pumpkins and watching movies. They came up with a couple nice creations. I didn't do one because my artistic skills include triangle eyes, a triangle nose and a wiggly mouth. Traditional I call it.
We had to try them out with some light in them. That was it for us. Good Nite!
