Today we had tickets to attend the annual J.E.E.P animal rescue fundraiser. Each year they hold an open house for everyone to attend. It features Silent Auction, 50/50, horse back photo ops, lots of beverages, and a nice chicken lupper. It is a chance for people to come and see all the animals and all the good things that George and Loretta do for homeless animals.
Lots of volunteers help with the event and Fany and Max have been going there on a regular basis to walk dogs and of course today they were helping out with raising money to help the animals.
I had a couple of pretty dates for the event so I was quite content.
I bid on and won a model hot air balloon. It was actually donated by Jeff and Fany and I wanted it. This is a little side business of theirs, going to balloon festivals in Canada and the USA and selling them. I think they are cute.

And of course the reason we were there was to see all the animals and interact with a lot of them. They are all very cute.

The Hilltop Refugio is literally at the top of the mountain in La Penita and you can look down over the farmland from the back and then go to the other side to look down on La Penita from the front. Very pretty.
We got all finished up there in time for sunset on our beach. It was a lovely sunset tonight. Good Nite!!
