Another Haircut in the Books.

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Time is passing quite quickly and we have been here over 2 weeks now.  We have been gone from home for about a month and a half.  I have the little countdown up in the right corner and it says that we will be back in Rivers in 160 days!!  Well today was market day so we grabbed John and Kirly and headed down there where we met Jeff, Fany and Max.  I kind of lagged behind because I had a 10 am appointment with Rocio for a haircut.  She was happy to see me again and set to work to get rid of the mop.  I was just wondering how many haircuts I have had in my lifetime?  I average 6 per year so that would be 420!!  Wow!  So if I got 2 inches of hair cut each time that is about 840 inches of hair or 70 feet!!  Now you know!!!

She always seems to do a great job even if it is a bit of a Mexican style.  I towsel it all up as soon as I leave cause she likes that slick down Mexican look.

Then a wee wander at the market, but my main objective was to find a Birra taco or 2!!  That will fill the spot.

Jeff spent some time chasing Mezcal.  He ended up with a couple bottles for almost free I think!!!

It got hot real quick so we headed for home and a dip in the pool.  The pool is a bit cooler now because night time temperatures are dipping into the mid 20'sC!!  The water is about 86F.

Once it cooled down later in the day, I took Archie for his walk down the beach.  We saw lots of birds today, which he promptly scared away.

Not often I show supper, but Sue breaded up some fish that our friend Randy in Magnolia beach gave us last month.  It was super good!!!  Thanks Randy.

A beautiful sunset tonight.  It seems the clouds are not bothering us in the evenings anymore.  

And we finished off the night with the current episode of Survivor.  It doesn't seem to be as strategic as the last series, but is still interesting and may change.  Good Nite!!
