Although there are little pockets of banditos still trying to make their mark by burning stuff, this morning the world around here was almost normal. Well not quite because all government agencies and banks and the like are closed today. The shelter in place has been lifted and we are free to go back to living life. Our friend Julie took a little walk and sent me these pictures of burned building and burned out busses around the Malecon.
We hope that tourists do not get scared away from this beautiful place. These people need tourists to make sure they have enough pesos to make it through to another tourist season. They will work hard to get this cleaned up so you can come and enjoy it here.
So I had a Dr. appointment for 11 am in Los Ayala. I had seen a post on Facebook saying they were open today. I grabbed a taxi and headed down there only to find them closed. How could that be when Facebook is always true!!! lol Lesson learned.
I got back from Los Ayala and went on a search for my birria guy. No where to be found!!! So while I was looking I came across Wanda and Irwin and Allison and Robert heading to Hinde and Jaimes for lunch. They have the best fish taco's. Patti said it would take a while to get our food cause they were busy. She was right. A little over an hour later we got our lunch. Was it ever good.

| I love how they get you to close the bathroom door!!! |
When I got back to the park, the water truck was there with a load of water. The town water line has not been working regular so we have supplement with a truck.
A little later in the day I headed out on the bike to get some supplies. Most of the stores were really busy with everyone shopping because they couldn't yesterday.

| But inside was busier than usual |
This evening I had a major disaster!!! Our Imperial Margarine container is empty!!! Now that is a major disaster. We try to bring enough from home to get us through the winter, but our freezer is only so big and today we are running out!!! It will be a month before we get some more. Just so you know, Mexico has butter and margarine that has a funny flavour.
Archie and I went for his evening walk and he met up with his little buddies. It is fun to watch them dance around each other. Archie is not much for playing with other dogs though.
Beautiful sunset to end the day. It won't be long until the sun rolls into the water and its time to go home. Good Nite!!!
