Today while I was having my morning coffee a group of young people walked by and it was obvious that they were picking up beach garbage. A lot of non Mexicans belly ache about the garbage on the beach but it is obvious they are trying. Maybe not to some peoples standards, but hey, we don't get to make the rules here. These guys did a great job.
Archie and I took a little walk down to the new condos to see the progress. The show suite is almost ready to go. They were putting in the condenser for the AC today and I wondered how long they would be before they got shut down by safety. Remember these guys are on the 4th floor but there is soft sand beneath them. Safety here rides on not being stupid. I'm sure this guy said to himself over and over, "Don't step over the edge!!"
Carnival starts today so I met Wanda and Irwin and we went downtown to check it out. We stopped at the baked potato place and tried one each. More than you could eat and very good!!

We wandered on to the plaza and Mass at the church was just finishing up. We came real close to attending church!! Does this count??
Carnival will last till Tuesday next week with something happening every evening. There is a big midway for the kids and lots of food vendors to choose a treat from.

We wandered around for an hour or so and then headed home. Me and my tall stranger took the back lane home. Glad I had him along. Good Nite!!!!
