It was a cool morning this morning. It seems we have arrived home about a week to soon again this year. The overnights are a little chilly but we were snug as a bug in a rug with the electric heater and the propane furnace as backup. It only came on at about 6 this morning and then cycled every half hour till about 8 when the electric heater could keep up again.
Once I got brave enough to get out of bed I had a coffee and off to Brandon I went. Its about 50 kms to Brandon so I arrived in good time. I have to drop off a tender for the caretaking of the building I looked at the other day. I doubt that I will be successful but it is fun trying. This is the Manitoba Housing Office in Brandon where all my bosses work.

Kinda skinny looking weave to it. |
Back home again and a little time with the weed whipper on the course. I have to cut down all the old dead perennials so the new ones have a fighting chance. I have to be careful not to do it too soon, because the tiny new shoots need the protection on the cold nights.
So the saga to my ebike is not over. It is fixed after a lot of back and forth with lectric bikes and some really really good service from about 10 of their tech people. It was not their fault that it took all winter to fix it because we were in Mexico and they don't ship there. So we just had to wait. And then we had to get them to ship parts all over the USA to follow our travels along. When it was finally fixed, they offered to send me any accessory package that I wanted up to a $99 value for free. How nice is that. So I chose the passenger seat package so the grandkids can ride on the back. And the value is $99!! Only catch is that they don't ship to Canada either, so I will have it shipped to Border Services in Dunseith North Dakota, and we will slip over the border when it arrives. It is about an hours drive. It will be better than the pillow we use now and will have foot pegs and a handle bar.
