A Busy Day watching Volleyball and Football

I took a little time in the morning to give the solar panels a scrub.  They were not actually that dirty but it never hurts to shine them up.

This afternoon was going to be a busy one for us.  Randy and Susan have invited us to join them for a lunch out and then a volleyball game, followed by a football game.  They follow lots of the high school sports teams because they either have grandchildren playing or have friends who have grandchildren playing.  Anyways, we headed out to have a late lunch or early supper (liner or lupper!!)   We went to an authentic Mexican restaurant and I enjoyed a burrito with frijoles and arroz!  It was very good, but didn't have the hot sauces that we would add ot it in Mexico. 

Then it was off to the local high school to watch varsity volleyball.  I was amazed how talented these girls were.  Our team won 3 games straight so we didn't get to stay for 5 if they had lost a couple. 

We got to take our time heading to the football field for their 7 pm game.  Susan's sister Dana came with us.  She is an avid fan of the Calhoun Seacrabs as well.  They have a beautiful stadium and put on a professional show.  Once again this was High School football.  We were not fortunate enough to have our team win, but the game was fun to watch.

We had a great day hanging out with friends and by the time we got home, we were treated to the moon over the bay.  Good Nite!!
