We had some different visitors this morning. A couple of girls were riding by and stopped to talk to Lessie. It's nice to see them down here riding around.
And of course I got to see a ship today. This one has been in port loading for a couple days.
I found a picture from the other day showing the alligator that was on Susan and Randy's dock at their house. They do have some big ones here but they are generally back in the swamp.
Ed and Lessie have been working on Archie to teach him how to shake a paw. They are doing real good and he is listening real well. This is what he looks like when he is fixated on getting that treat.
Then when the treats are done he just plain old relaxes.
Susan and Randy invited us to come to a little get together down the road from us this afternoon. It was put on by a couple at their house and they supply everything. Food, Music, and good friendship and they ask nothing for it. And it was sooo good. Lots of everything to eat and the band was a local one and they were real good. We got there about 5:30 and it was over by 7:30. We had a great time and met some old friends and got to chat with a lot of new people.

Supper was amazing with brisket, sausage, corn chowder, beans, and potato salad. The rest was just salad and stuff like that that I didn't have time for!!! lol. Dessert was good too.
That's the way we spent our day today and the band played while the sun set. It was fun and we love the people here. Another day tomorrow. Good Nite!!!
