Sue Went on a Date

WHERE ARE WE? La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico

Archie has made himself at home here in LP.  He has a spot under RRV where he lays and every time he lays there he digs a hole.  It is getting quite large by now but he keeps digging on one side and then the other so while he is digging, he is filling in the hole that is already there.  I guess he feels that the sand will be cooler if he digs down, which is actually true.  From his hole, he can see all of the yard so he knows exactly what is going on and who is coming and going.  

Sue told me that Max told his mom that he would like to go on a "date" with her.  He wants to take Susan out for dinner, and he is ok if Fany and I tag along.  Jeff was welcome too, but he had a wee problem with some margarita's yesterday so he wants to stay home.  We headed down to Rincon Guayabitos for lunch at Tonita II.  The restaurant is on the north end of the beach and that was a good thing, because looking down the beach to the south, it looked really crowded.  Guayabitos is a busy tourist town and we only come here to eat once in a while.  We had a lovely lunch and then, after some ice cream, we headed for home.

We arrived back at RRV and visited for quite a while with Fany, and Jeff joined us as well. I went down to the corner and snagged us a roast chicken for supper.  It came with rice, potatoes and coleslaw.

We swam a bit and then hung out on the beach area until the sun went down.

I did one little project while we visited.  I made a garbage can light for Susan to put in her craft tent.

The other thing I did today was to fix the blue lights at the back of the pool.  When they came on after dark, the reflection in the water was amazing!!  They certainly have a pretty pool area.

Another trip down to the Cafecito tonight to see Kenia and Suzanna.  They were having lots of fun again tonight but it was quite busy.  The plaza was busy too with a kids event going on.  Lots of kids dancing and singing and just having fun.

And lots of fireworks again.

I bought a nice pinata from the nice lady by Kenia's to put up at RRV.  It looks quite nice.

And I got a churro to take home for Susan.  

And that was it for today.  I made it home about 10 pm and called it a day.  Oh yes, there was another lovely sunset.  Good Nite!!!
