Easter Sunday was kind of a non thing here in Mexico. Other than family getting together, it is a huge holiday at the beach for Mexicans. No egg painting, no egg hiding, no chocolate eggs, no Easter Bunny. So we went to Abuela's house for Birria with them. My tummy was still not good, but the birria seemed to be a good thing for me. Sheri however is not doing well today. She actually went home to bed after visiting at abuela's house.
We had a nice time and Sue did bring some chocolate for the kids. Of course Kenia had one and tried to tell us that she chipped a tooth while eating it. The smile gave it away.
On the way home we drove over the car bridge and there was a Crocodile laying there with his mouth open just enjoying the sun. The kids have seen 3 of them in the estuary one day.
Later in the evening Dani and I went down town and stopped by Kenia's. She was super busy tonight!!
Sheri brought her Oculus game system with her and she has got us hooked on it. There is an escape room app that we really like and everyone takes turns playing it. You do look silly when you play because you move your head around and your arms are moving lots. Maybe a new toy for the old folks??
We did enjoy ourselves today and went to bed satisfied. Good Nite!!
