This Little Piggy Went to Market

WHERE ARE WE? Roca Azul RV Park, Jocotepec, Jalisco, Mexico

The reason we stayed over in Roca Azul is because we wanted to attend the large market at Tonala which is a suburb of Guadalajara!  Guadalajara is a city of 1.4 million people and we are going to drive almost to the center of the city. Maybe crazy, maybe not.  We headed down some back roads to start, saw some milk cows and lots of pretty houses up in the mountains.  The traffic got really crazy once we got into the city, but no one took a picture.

We did manage to stop at a familiar place on the way to the market.  Lets see who knows where we had lunch.  It was very authentic and caused the same stomach pain as usual about an hour later.

The market was crowded, long and really hot today.  I didn't last too long and had to sit whenever I got a chance.

Sheri and Dani got to hold some baby parrots and the guy tried desperately to sell them one.

And I had a guy trying to sell me some candy, and bugs, and coated minnows.  I resisted.

Dani and I both made purchases today. Dani got this hammock chair and I got this cute saying that we will hang up in the Motor Home.

That was about it for our day.  It was a good one and we will be back on the road north tomorrow.  This was our travels today.  Good Nite!
