Getting Ready for the Last Leg of our South Trip

WHERE ARE WE? Chimney RV Park, Mission, Texas

We packed up this morning to move further on down the road.  We are meeting up with Brian and Jolynn and a few other RVers and will caravan with them to La Penita.  We plan to leave on Tuesday morning but are going to just hang out and meet the group before we travel together.  For some, this will be the first time to travel in Mexico so we want them to be as comfortable with it as possible.  Anyway before we left we finally saw a ship.  We haven't seen one for a couple days now. 

So after a week on the beach, we said goodbye until next time.

So we had to fuel up so we didn't have to stop along the way.  Murphy's was a great choice because it was the cheapest in town.  $2.49 a gallon.

Then some propane

And some breakfast at McDonalds and we were off.

Here is where we went today.

It was warm out today and of course the sun was beaming in my window.  It was a workout for the air conditioning in the MH.  By the picture it looks like its time to clean my dash!!!

We arrived at Chimney RV Park about 4 pm.  This will be our home for 3 days.  Here is the Chimney and the story behind it if you want to read it.

A typical RV spot but lets not belly ache.  It has power and we need that for the air conditioner for the next couple days.

This park is an ideal place for an electric bike except for some reason it wouldn't turn on today. I did a bit of checking but I think its a tomorrow project.  Just something else to fix I guess!!!

A little bit of Survivor and off to bed we went.  A quiet day planned for tomorrow.  Good Nite!!
