I had a few projects up my sleeve today. I had to do some computer work this morning to finish up some things back home. This is my office here in La Penita. Not bad huh??
My next project was to go buy a fridge for outside the camper. We enjoy having a fridge to keep cold drinks in because our RV one is very small. We decided to buy a small apartment size energy efficient one after I saw it in the store yesterday. Yes that is the price, and I got sticker shock at first. It takes a while to get your head around peso's versus dollars.
Because we laid it on its side to bring it home, we have to leave it sit for a while before plugging it in.
I had a little trouble with the water supply line at our site today. The tap was not anchored and the black pipe had kinked so I tried to straighten everything out and while I was doing that, I cracked the fitting on the tap. It was old and brittle and didn't take much to break it.
18 pesos for a new one and we were back in business. Now we won't have to worry about breaking anything.
Spent some time just relaxing and doing some swimming for the rest of the day. Good Nite!!
