Feeling a little Under the Weather Today

WHERE ARE WE? Numero Uno RV Park, La Penita, Mexico

Archie and I went for our normal walk on the beach.  He sure does love it and he just saunters along sniffing everything in sight.  I think he could turn into a true Mexican dog given half a chance.  All the dogs, with the exception of a couple are as friendly as can be.

Something we really don't want around here are sugar ants.  The little pests get in everything.  The only way to deter them is with ant repellant.  We have a gallon jug of it but if we don't do it every week or so, or if we lean something against the motorhome, they are back inside in a wink.

Our friends Lilly and Ron are getting their trailer brought in today although they won't be arriving until Nov 30.  Another of our friends, Steve stores trailers over summer for people and then delivers them to their spots for them.  Steve is heading back to Saskatchewan on the 20th and wanted to deliver it early if possible.  So its here awaiting Ron and Lilly.  They will be our neighbours for the winter.

After the dust all cleared from that performance we headed downtown for lunch with Leena, Jeff, Fany and Max.  We went to Sabor de Casa.  I had catch of the day which was delicious.  Sue had some shrimp soup.  It was a nice lunch.

I started feeling poorly during lunch and went downhill pretty fast.  I think the heat and humidity and maybe not sleeping as much as I am used to may have caught up to me.  I crawled into bed about 4 pm and that was it for me for the day.  Good Nite!!

  2. Hope you feel better soon. A suggestion for keeping ants away, laundry soap works Every year at Salt lake, I would shake laundry soap around our camping site and on the ant hill in the site. Seems ants don’t like smelly dry laundry soap. I would get the two weeks if camping ant free.
