We woke up this morning to the pitter patter of rain on the roof. Just a very light rain. This is a very rare occurrence for here but it is nice to have. Everything starts to dry out this time of year and the lush greenness starts to fade, but then a nice rain like this comes along and everything gets green again. It is better than the snow our family back home is getting. Our daughter Karalee will be out on the highways in her snow plow truck I guess and Sheri will be selling extra hot tubs.
Kaitlyn spent the day changing her tires to the winter ones. I am glad to see her knowing how to do it.
A little walk with Archie on the beach and then Drew, Leena and I headed to Abuela's for our Sunday birria. We enjoyed it as usual and were home again by 10 am.
Pretty much light drizzle all day long. The ocean is different again when it is hazy and overcast. A different kind of beauty for sure.
We caught a little break in the rain this afternoon so I took Archie for another beach walk.
Some TV and we called it a day. Oh we did try to watch the Grey Cup but we couldn't get it without paying!! I haven't paid for a game this season so I wasn't about to pay to watch this one. I know that Winnipeg lost same as you, and it didn't cost me a dime!! Good Nite!!
