Kenia is Loving the Movie Stars

Archie and I walked down to the Malecon this morning to see what was happening on the movie set.  They were just all getting set up.  Today they are filming in a couple of the local restaurants, so they are closed for the day.  They certainly have made the road by the malecon very pretty.

We hung around the park swimming and doing a few chores until about 1:30 when we headed downtown for lunch with Drew and Leena.  

The movie was still going on and we saw Kenia's motorbike there.  She was up in one of the restaurants shmoozing the actors.  She did send up pictures.

We had a nice little lunch at Hinde Y Jamies.  2 fish taco's and a drink is the popular choice.

A little walk downtown after lunch turned into a little bit of ice cream.  MMMM fresa.  Home just in time for a nice big nap.

After nap we took Archie for a walk on the beach.  It was fairly dark because the sun goes down around 5:15 right now.  As we were walking, the movie set turned on a massive flood light and turned it around so it shone right at us on the beach.  Wow was that bright!!

It lit up the whole beach for almost 1/2 mile.  We turned around and followed the tall people with a tall dog back to our park.  

About 7:30 I headed back downtown to hang out with Kenia.  She is doing some electrical work in her cafecito and wanted me to help her getting the necessary supplies.  We had to stop for a couple taco de asado's along the way.  That would be supper for me.

It seems like Mondays are not very busy for her although she did have a few customers.  I headed back for home about 9 pm.  Here is one of the alleys I go down on the way.  It is totally safe here so don't sweat it.  lol.
